A Bit of News

my finds from last week's farmer's market
I've been dreaming about a hearty harvest cake in my head all week.  It's full of apples and carrots, maybe a bit of ginger, and it's slathered in a vanilla bean cashew cream.  But, other things required my attention and this dream of a cake had to get put on the back burner as it were. 

Instead of baking (and eating) this lovely dream cake, I've been prepping, recipe testing, and permit wrangling so that I can be a seller at the Longview farmer's market this weekend!  It's been my one of my goals this year and it feels good to finally make it happen.  So, if any of you happen to be in East Texas this weekend, come by and say hi from 8am-12pm.  And, if you aren't in the area, check back later in the weekend and I may have a tasty dream cake to share.

    Hey I met you at the market today (I was the vegan). That pumpkin cookie was amazing!!!! I love it so much. I wanted to make sure you know you are invited to our potluck.
